Not very far from Bangalore. It is not so tiring quick one day trip from Bangalore. It’s a nice one day outing at Krishnagiri Dam The drive to Krishangiri is cool. Driving on NH7 is breeze. | Step -2 | 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM | Visit KRP Dam. You can park you car in the front of the KRP dam. There is a lot of parking space available. Remember that weekend can be a bit tough from parking perspective as there can be lot of crowd . There is a garden in front of dam. You can spend some time there. This is one of the few dams where you are allowed to go up the dam. The view is fantastic. . You can easily spend some 2 hours here. Kids will enjoy playing in the park. Can be a nice picnic spot. |
