1 Hognekkal Falls
If you are ok with a bit of long drive, this place is one of the best to visit in these rainy season. Situated at around 180 Kms from Bangalore, takes approximately 3 hrs to reach.
Apart from lot of greenery around and if you are a fish lover, you get some good fried fish to eat here.

Don’t feel like driving for more than 100Kms, Krishanagiri Dam can be a good option. It can be a very good outing with family and friends. And it is not very far from Bangalore. You can reach Krishangiri with in 95Kms
There is a beautiful park, just in the front of dam and is a very area for kids to play and a good family gathering.

3 Temples around Hosur
Hosur itself home to couple of famous temples which are quite old and are prominent temples of this area. Below are the ones which we suggest which you can cover together as part of day trip.
Chandra Choodeswarar Temple Hosur
you can start your day by visiting Sri Chandra Choodeswarar Temple first. This is a very old and a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is on a hill top. This temple is visible from far.
The next temple you can visit is Dakshin Tirupathi. Again situated at hill top, this temple is a must visit. This temple is dedicated to Lord Tirupathi Balaji i.e Lord Vishnu. Hence this temple is known as Dakshin Tirupathi. It is a divine feeling to visit this temple.
Shri Parshwa Padmavathi Jain Temple – Krishangiri
And then the last temple you can cover during the day is called as Sri Parshwa Padmavathi Jain temple, or also called as Sri Padmavati Shaktipeeth Teerath Dham or Krishnagiri Shaktipeetham.
This is again a very beautiful Jain temple located in Krishangiri.
